Dr. An Q. Le
Dentistry is my passion. It allows me to truly change a patient’s life, in a really neat way! I love waking up everyday knowing that I’ll be making a difference for someone, whether it be getting them out of pain, or making their smile something to be proud of. I’ve come to know all my patients well, and strive to make each one feel at home in the office.
Before dental school, I went to the University of Texas in Austin to get a Biochemistry degree. After that, I earned my dental degree from Baylor College.
Dentistry is a field which is ever-changing and constantly advancing with better technologies and products each year. This allows us, as dentists, to perform more efficient and precise procedures. For this exact reason, I take hundreds of hours of continuing education, each and every year! We want the best for our patients, and this is how that’s accomplished. Our team specializes in implant dentistry, as well as orthodontics, so you don’t have to travel to different dentists for all of your treatment.
As a dentist, I feel it’s important to contribute to my community, and consider it a priority to help those less fortunate. Dental care isn’t something that only some deserve – everyone does! This is why I work with the Give Kids a Smile program.
I’m originally from San Antonio, but have since moved to Plano to live with my wife and 3 children. When I’m not playing with my kids, I love cooking and playing golf on the beautiful courses in Texas.
Dr. Roy Bloom
I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, my primary interest while working on my Master’s degree was mammalian anatomy and physiology and physiological ecology of reptiles. I was a teaching assistant in the department of Biology at the University of Texas Pan American in the anatomy and physiology labs. During college, I also worked as a Dental lab technician fabricating crowns. It was during this period that I developed an interest in the art and science of dentistry.
After graduating from dental school, I attended an Oral Surgery fellowship at UT Southwestern hospital in Dallas with rotations at John Peter Smith Hospital and The Dallas Veterans Hospital. There, I received extensive experience in the oral surgery clinics, emergency rooms and in the operating rooms. I then attended University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio where I earned my privileges to perform IV Sedation. I have performed over 11,000 IV cases; I am confident this is the best treatment option for dental anxiety and or phobia.
I live in McKinney with my wife Trisha, we have 7 children ranging ages 15 to 28, and 4 dogs. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, watching my children play sports, athletics (I have my own team), reading, golf and all things surgical, electronic, or mechanical.
